It doesn’t really. I’ve used GPs who use this system you still have to wait for a call or email before getting an appointment. Still the same number of GPs so once appointments are booked still waiting for an appointment
From today patients can request GP appts online, 8am-6.30pm. Big step toward ending 8am scramble 👍 Many GPs already offer this, yet the BMA is threatening to oppose… We will not let the forces of conservatism turn our NHS into a museum. We will always stand up for patients.
