Currently 100% battery grade spheronised graphite is processed in china. Each 1kg of graphite production releases 2.9 kg of CO2. By 2030 we need 4 million tonnes of graphite for batteries. That is going to emit 12 million tonnes of CO2. We need to greener graphite for batteries.
