General understanding with Li metal, thicker the Li metal, longer the cycle life, ONLY true if you have flooded electrolyte system. If lean electrolyte ( commercial requirement) thin Li metal works better.

You had checked resistance mapping for Li-S batteries with both thin and thick Li anodes.
Based on what you had briefly mentioned here, I think what you used (E/S= 6 uL/mg) was flooded. Isn't it?
