Many don't fully grasp just how drastically Biden/Harris dragged Democrats to the right. Even if you put the huge shifts on policing and immigration aside, we went from fighting FOR universal healthcare to being on the defense AGAINST a literal genocide. They set us back YEARS.
It's not just Klein. In the past week, Yglesias, Weigel, Barro, Tapper, have all seized on and repeated this totally false talking point about the Democratic party having moved sharply to the left. It's not just wrong, it's the opposite of the truth.
