The Black men already had syphilis. What the US did was evil enough with misrepresenting or lying about the facts They already had syphilis & were sought out for that reason & then denied healthcare Every few years, people come on here and lie about this

Tbh in my opinion, looking at history: systemic racism & capitalism is more likely to delay or deny us a working vaccine than to actively poison us.

There’d always be a part of me that would feel gross if I said “surgical masks are a great alternative”, but decline it if someone gave it to me to wear I can’t act like I wouldn’t be nervous if I had to wear one instead of a respirator I’m only gonna post what id actually do

I understand leaving room for people to wear surgical masks “because something is better than nothing” I just personally can’t encourage people to wear something I wouldn’t wear myself I’d rather share ways to get higher quality masks than encourage people to do what I won’t
