Also - Conclusions from our study of comorbid #dyslexia and #dyscalculia from this amazing team at @mitbrainandcog and @IHPResearch. Comorbid reading + math difficulties associated with poor #EF AND visual processing differences but no differences in #phonologicalawareness

Another summary: "ADHD status alone had no measurable influence on reading performance or brain activation. Impaired EF in dyslexia, independent of ADHD status, was associated with greater deficits in reading fluency and greater reductions of activation in response to print. ".

📢New findings on reading and executive function (EF): We find that students with dyslexia are similar to those with dyslexia + ADHD, but readers with stronger or weaker EF differ in reading brain systems and reading performance.
