Incredible work by @olgakepinska: Study of 150+ kindergarteners ranging from monolingual to quintilingual (!!!) demonstrates that linguistic diversity is reflected in brain mechanisms for English word processing.

New paper alert in @DyslexiaIDA! We used fNIRS to study morphological processing in SPEECH in typical and impaired readers ages 6-11. Reading comprehension skill was associated with neural differences in auditory processing of derivational affixes! See
