A year ago I didnāt even know what endometriosis was - now Iām taking part in a scientific research project with the University of Edinburgh as an ambassador, to help find out more about this chronic, painful condition. If youāre a sufferer and want to get involved info here šš½.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet up with some of our southerly ambassadors in London last night to get inspired for next steps. Weāre excited to keep pushing the ENDO1000 project towards our goal of raising Ā£1M to fund this crucial research #endometriosis #1in10 #talkendo

Back after time off, as I recovered from #endometriosis surgery. Itāll help but wonāt remove all the pain as no one quite knows what causes endo. Sharing to raise awareness - yesterday in parliament a minister said: āwomen with endometriosis have been failed for far too longā.

Former US President Jimmy Carter has died. A one term president, who faced challenges inc the Iran hostage crisis - heāll be remembered for what he achieved AFTER leaving office as much as what he did in the White House. I met him briefly in 2014, he was charming and friendly.

Iāve sat in the chair or been on the road in immense pain. Iāve seen doctors in the UK, US and India yet it took so long for it to be diagnosed. So many women with endometriosis are gaslit and ignored. I feel thankful to @JoelNaftalin for being a doctor who took it seriously.
