We live in Wexford and my husband’s cancer treatment is in Dublin. We have a minimum of 4 trips a month but it’s usually about 10. It’s 90 quid for a full tank. We don’t get support from @IrishCancerSoc or the Government. Why is there not more financial help for cancer patients?.

I put on serious weight after I had my divine baby and I spent the past 5 months trying to squeeze into too-small jeans. Yesterday I gave in and bought new, bigger trousers and a few massive jumpers and honestly what a relief. My fat arse is free once more, praise the lord.

You know what makes me angry?. When I admit a patient with metastatic cancer who’s unlikely to survive… and if that patient had been able to access a family doctor and simple routine screening tests they would have been most likely cured months ago. Now it’s too late. This.
