After 20 years in software engineering, Bitcoin is the first protocol where known bugs and exploits are called "features that can't be fixed." In any other project, we'd patch the vulnerability. "It might break consensus" has become a permanent excuse to leave exploits unpatched.

All you can do is try your best to explain that they are fking with the only shot we have at financial freedom. There won’t be another. Please don’t make us fight you because you want pictures on Bitcoin. This is about freedom of financial transactions for everyone forever.
@Singekino_Miner @hodlonaut It's sad it's even a debate. "Why can't I just store my idiotic data on the chain?!" What is somebody supposed to say to that?

Bitcoin 101: If pleb nodes stop mattering, Bitcoin is finished. You didn’t see it coming. The OGs you trusted (@adam3us @peterktodd @lopp @danheld) sold out—got rich & joined the systems we set out to destroy. They’re not Bitcoiners anymore. They got theirs & sold the plebs out.

We’ll start seeing more of this. Question is if/when will all the people who fought against our efforts to limit data storage and spam realize that Bitcoin doesn’t work without pleb nodes. Good people who want to preserve the best money ever discovered have actively to protect it
The Praia Bitcoin, @Bitcoinize, and @BitcoinConfed Sunset From September 2021 to February 2026, Praia Bitcoin worked to create the first Bitcoin circular economy in Brazil. In 2023, we developed the Bitcoinize Machine and became the first community to combine point-of-sale

“It also disables transactions that are currently commonly confirmed (e.g. inscriptions)” We’re now in the “BIP-110 does everything you say and we won’t be able to easily put garbage in Bitcoin” phase. They are now just telling us we are right and this is will end their bullshit.
@CoinCornerDanny Forget everything else that BIP110 does: * It makes compiling minitapscripts that currently work potentially lead to loss of coins (for as long as its enforced). * It also disables transactions that are currently commonly confirmed (e.g. inscriptions). It proposes to make these

BIP-110 is a basic bug fix. The fact that Core leadership refuses to implement it tells you everything. We’ve entrusted Bitcoin—the most important protocol ever invented—to developers who won’t fix known bugs. They’ve failed their duty. Time for new stewardship.

Spammers don’t run nodes. They’re too lazy. They just profit off ours while talking shit on X. Every node running Knots + BIP-110 is a vote they can’t manipulate. Don’t debate them. Run nodes and defeat them.

When BIP-110 goes live and the dust settles, the spammers will fade into the background like they were never there. No headlines, no thank-yous, no acknowledgment that anything was even broken. Just silence. But we'll know. We'll know we pulled this back from the edge again.

U.S. Bitcoin merchant adoption keeps growing. This is what you should be paying attention to.

If you're a pro-spam dev, we want you to leave Bitcoin. Because you clearly don't understand Bitcoin or Bitcoin culture. We want you to leave Bitcoin, just like we wanted Vitalik Buterin to leave Bitcoin in 2014 (and he did, because we wouldn't give him large OP_RETURNs). If

Gloria Zhao's resignation marks the overdue end of a corrosive tenure defined by reckless protocol changes, captured governance funded by the Bitcoin Core industrial complex, and calculated betrayal of Bitcoin's monetary mission.

Bitcoin haters have Stockholm Syndrome. They're rooting for their captors. Fiat = slavery & surveillance. Gold = centralized institutions with KYC. More surveillance. Don't you want the freedom to bank as you see fit? Wake up.
