This is the problem with democracy. People think they can vote to steal other people's money or property. People are holding contradictory ideas in their head when they think you can somehow square democratic voting and private property rights. Pick a side.
When did so many people start thinking that the default position on wealth is that it should be returned to the state, as if the government has any right to claim it, beyond the need to pay for the irreducible core of basic public services (defence, a justice system, etc).
