Check it out! PTMs provide a powerful means to fine-tune protein function, enabling cells to control processes such as metabolism and cellular memory. Protein acetylation is widespread yet we understand only the tip of the iceberg in many cases!
Ever wondered why low levels of MOF keep mice slim and whether this is a good thing? A beautiful interplay of epigenetics and metabolism!

Another great morning meeting with lab members doing home office and welcoming new members to the lab via zoom. Keep up your motivation and above all stay healthy!
It was really a fantastic event! Great science and discussion! I left feeling very proud to have such wonderful cohort of students within the Max Planck Society! I look forward to seeing your progress in the coming years 😊😊
Inspiring talks & workshops, a thought-provoking debate, nice food, some karaoke and lots of laughter. Yesterday's Max Planck Schools Day 2022 in Berlin was simply amazing! We enjoyed learning more about the research of the other Max Planck Schools
@MPS_cog

What a great way to start the Morning with a zoom call with lab members doing home office. Everyone is happy and healthy, and finding interesting ways to progress their projects! Well done.
Are you breaking the

This study also suggests that there is some hidden logic behind X chromosomal 3D architecture driving specificity which we still do not fully understand!

As a leader, it can be tough to admit your failures. But, most of us don’t actually want to be led by someone who never fails.
We know we will all face failure at some point, and we want to be led by someone who can be a mentor and role model for how to overcome challenges.
This is a fantastic new story from my lab which provides a novel angle to study MOF and the NSL complex! Check it out! And enjoy the movies of the dramatic nuclei!!

If you work in research, you’ve probably never met another researcher who doesn’t fear failure or feel the sting of rejection. You’ve just met a lot of people who prefer not to talk about it. Vocalizing our fears and struggles is a powerful first step toward overcoming them.
