I also hope people who jumped in with comments yesterday, hold their hands up. A classic case of don't believe everything you read. People wading in before knowing the full story. As for @thetimes anything to sell a story and no consideration for the individual. Disappointing

With regards Oliver Dustin it’s a case of innocent until proven guilty but as with the @luketraynor1 thing I’d say one thing and that’s that we are only human. I’ve been in bars with Olympic medalists caning beers. None of us are infallible. Everyone wants to live a little.

Just been told by a friend that a Wetherspoons pub is reducing its capacity from 750 to 250 people 2mw. Yet organisers for outdoor running/ cycling/ swimming/ @parkrun events cannot put on events above 30 people with data collected safely (for track & trace). Cheers!

Final Count for World Champs Marathon: -41% of the field dropped out -avg. 89deg, 75% humidity -Only 7 women ran sub 2:40 -13 ran faster than the US Oly Trials standard -4 teams had all 3 women finish (USA, KEN, BLR, PRK) A marathon in Doha, Qatar, even at midnight is insane
