Good interview here. My question for @enriquecerna: Why does WSU still make the athletic department pay the school for athletic scholarships, which cost 10M+. Simply eliminating tuition costs for athletes would free up millions for revenue sharing. A potential game-changer.

With Miami beating Ole Miss, the SEC finishes 1-8 against P4 teams in bowls, 0-3 in the playoff against other P4 teams and doesn’t get to the title game for 3 straight years So look for ESPN & Greg Sankey to push for 9 SEC teams in the playoff next year

Iowa State currently has 16 players on their roster. College football is dying, and nobody is doing anything about it. If it continues as is we’re going to see schools stop playing football at the high major level because it’s no longer sustainable.

No G5 administrator should ever agree to “break from the P4 of its own accord.” The European Super League failed to even get off the ground because of the insane backlash. Let the SEC & B1G go that route and ruin their reputation further. Don’t do the dirty work for them.
