I wouldn't celebrate just yet, but the lack of Tory Horton Jr. on the NFI list the Seahawks released yesterday is a hopeful sign the rookie is ready to get back on the practice field. He has a huge opportunity in front of him.

This is a bummer for these guys, especially Waxter and Alexander, who have a path to a roster spot if they play well enough.
With Seahawks rookies reporting for training camp today, the team placed six of them on the non-football injury list: DE Rylie Mills, CB Zy Alexander, WR Tyrone Broden, WR Montorie Foster, LB D'Eryk Jackson and CB Isas Waxter. Mills, a fifth-round pick, is coming off a torn ACL.
