The system is ridiculous - train them to be doctors and then there are no jobs! When offered a training job they don't even get a real choice of the location.
Spoke to doctors at Guy’s Hospital today. One doctor is leaving the NHS after failing to get a training job and being unable to support their family on their pay. Unemployed doctors. Long waiting lists. And a Health Secretary who looks away. This is 21st century Britain.

The additional issue is a training post may be anywhere in the UK. These are 25+ year old adults who are given no choice of where the training post will be. Ridiculous when you and your long term partner are both doctors and want to live in the same area.
