Sometimes I wonder if things can get worse for the Liberals, and then someone shows me how.

It’s extraordinary how conservatives like Alex Antic treat women’s pain as political currency - trampling over medical experts and compassion alike in the pursuit of another cheap culture war headline. https://t.co/J5vnatH7yW

@Aaronsmith333 All she's inviting is a perennial NIMBYism where nothing gets built, nothing gets done.

Incredible to transition from "these planning reforms will destroy our community with towers" into "but it isn't viable to build towers" without any hesitation at all. Truly great minds in the party of Menzies
The ability of Liberal MPs to talk for hours without stumbling over a single solution is almost a talent. No wonder Gen Z have bailed on the Liberals — culture wars, rental stress, doubled uni fees and zero path to home ownership isn’t exactly a winning pitch.

@pwafork No matter how many times I hear this pro-Liberal centre right rhetoric, it’s never accompanied by a single reference to specific policies the Libs should pursue. Motherhood statements don’t cut it. The Libs, like their rusted on supporters are completely out of ideas.

Honestly….. wild, baseless accusations - that women would somehow falsely claim a still birth payment - without a shred of any evidence at all. Disgraceful. #auspol
Jenny McAllister fires back at Alex Antic who asks if govt can override doctors who he alleges are running a scam by classifying abortions as stillbirths. McAllister says they will trust the medical experts, has to remind shameless Antic that these are traumatic circumstances.

This is worth your time - YouTube production. On the surface, it’s about grid design and planning, but really, it’s about how geography is once again shaping class. In Sydney, where you live now defines how you live. We’ve rebuilt the old hierarchies. Melbourne will be similar

The club's chief executive texted Sen Pocock on Thursday to let him know he was no longer welcome. Surely if it's a sporting club with annual membership fees, then the financial members of the club and the committee decide who they boot from the club? Not the hired help.

They just told us it cost $339,703 in external legal costs (and far more in internal costs!) to prosecute whistleblower Richard Boyle. What a horrific waste of money to attack a brave truth teller.

I quit the Parliamentary Sports Club a couple of weeks ag when I discovered that it had registered itself as a lobbying group and was sponsored by the gambling peak body. The gambling industry is insidious and invidious. It has its tentacles everywhere.

@DryFarmer24 @mattjcan I'm participating fully in the market. I didn't design the market. If you're participating in the same market as me, and not doing as well, is that a hallmark of socialism or capitalism, out of interest?

Time and again, our regulators prove themselves unfit for purpose — opaque, unaccountable, and inadequate.
ACNC Commr Sue Woodward confirms charities found promoting political parties are disqualified, but after investigating 18 charities during election campaign none met the threshold & won’t spk on the Brethren-Liberal alliance Deb O’Neill “can I express some concern about that?”🚩

@LyleShelton Lyle, you come from a faith that spent decades running an industrial-scale protection racket for child sexual abuse - shielding predators and silencing victims. That you dismiss it, and still presume to sit in judgement of other faiths, is not just ironic. It’s obscene.

@Endtyrannynow @mattjcan It's the opposite. It's cheap when it's full of renewablse and expensive when it's mostly coal. It's not a mystery. I think it's on this point that @mattjcan does so much damage - his aim is to convince people of the lie you've clearly fallen for. It's unprofessional of him imo.
