It's not that I am deeply ironic, overtly sarcastic, or obtuse, it's just that you don't get it because your minnow like intellect defies rational explanation.

I've never really understood the logic of "targeted vaccination". Of course, money is a huge issue and we seek to get the most out of every £ spent. Of course COVID and flu waves would be far worse without it. But, what doesn't sit well for me is the following...

Thimerosal was removed from vaccines in U.S. 20 years ago, except for one seldom used multi-dose flu vaccine. And what happened after thimerosal was removed from vaccines in the U.S.? Nothing, except autism rates actually increased (shifting diagnostic criteria). article attached
Now that America has removed mercury from all vaccines, I call on every global health authority to do the same — to ensure that no child, anywhere in the world, is ever exposed to this deadly neurotoxin again.

Maybe the lesson is not "Democrats should run moderates" or "Democrats should run socialists" but "Democrats should run candidates who are likable and have politics that are appealing in the specific places they are running."

Can you point us to your condemnation when Trump and Abbott did it in Texas or was it OK then?
Redistricting should never be used as a political weapon. While party leaders may pressure blue and red states alike to become pawns in a political arms race, the governor should not disenfranchise Marylanders to serve his national ambitions. Maryland’s leadership must be defined

My Dad is 49 and remembers James Bulger, Stephen Lawrence, Hungerford, Dunblane, there was no social media to amplify crimes when he was young.
@SophieP25397 It's not ranting about the good old days, just fear I think. I am 47, I do not remember any stabbings when I grew up. That's in my town or mass stabbings in the UK. The only event I remember is a bouncer punching and killing a lad and an ex-husband shooting his wife.

you’re likely going to see this Elon Musk post in your feed because Musk is using X’s paid boost feature on it Elon Musk is running his anti Zohran Mamdani / Andrew Cuomo endorsement as an unmarked paid promotion on the social media platform that he owns

you don't have to put on blackface to get social media attention. you can simply develop mild depression, join a menswear forum, spend the next 15 years arguing about pants, and then weaponize the knowledge against your enemies on social media.

This steaming dollop of AI slop, topped by a gigantic serving of word salad.
@PaulMBigland @Jim_Cornelius Feedback accelerates accuracy: initial reports tied the image to a confirmed stabbing, but scrutiny revealed its mismatch, prompting swift clarification. Absent human flags, AI draws from aggregated data alone; with them, we dissect fakes from facts more nimbly than isolated

Has this fantasist ever even been to a village in England?
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits" "In fact JR Tolkien based the hobbits on people he knew in small town England. They're lovely people who liked to, you know, smoke their pipe.

Yes, I was calling racists racists, and now I'm calling out the millions of posts from bots spreading hatred and divisiveness. Which always quickly brings out the wounded tone from those who claim their incitement to violence is in fact "debate". As they always did.
Henig, who was calling his opponents “Nazis” last month, wants entire social media networks banned because “racist bots” (presumably “people who disagree with David Henig”) have the temerity to reply to his tweets.

This tweet from the governor of Florida is still up even though the entire rightwing narrative has been debunked and even the TPUSA guys have acknowledged it and deleted their original tweets. Will @RonDeSantis apologize, correct the record, and delete? Or keep with the lie?
It’s been really disturbing to see teachers across the country glorifying a murder just because they disagreed with the victim.

This is why the police don’t immediately release names of suspects to appease the baying online mob…. The life of the 35 year old, who has now been freed, would have absolutely been destroyed if his name had been released
British Transport Police full statement: Detectives investigating a multiple stabbing on a train in Cambridgeshire can this evening confirm a 32-year-old man who was arrested is now being treated as the only suspect. A 35-year-old man from London who was also arrested at the

This is genuinely chilling. Punch “Allahu Akbar eyewitness” into the search bar here and you’ll get page after page after page of Grok telling everyone there are multiple eyewitness accounts of the train criminals shouting this All false A tidal wave of disinformation

Why is there a completely unelected representative of a party with 5 MPs being asked the exact same questions about a major incident, only minutes after the entirely elected Secretary of Defence answered them? #bbclaurak

After calls for the identity and background of the perpetrators, Mr Ben Habib feels that the police giving out those actual facts about the British-born perpetrators, in response to those calls for the information, is intended to deflect from concerns about asylum + immigration
Inspector Loveless described the two alleged stabbers on the Huntingdon train as British. Starmer described Rudakubana as a Welshman! The British people want the unvarnished complete truth. Daily now we are being assaulted. 👇🏼

Even after police announced the suspects in yesterday's knife attack were born in Britain, Advance UK's Ben Habib is still trying to link it to illegal immigration and small boats. He's demanding the release of the suspects' names, because he's "extremely suspicious". 🙄

Many outrage farmers are questioning why police identified a suspect in an incident in Liverpool earlier this year as white so quickly. If Alan Miller read the article he shared, he'd know. Racist idiots misidentified an innocent bystander as the suspect. https://t.co/gu2QMLx7Aq
Naturally some people wouldn't accept that the suspect was a 53 year old white British man, suggesting he was arrested for something else. Even after police clarified that the white man WAS the driver, some were posting photos of a bystander they misidentified as the driver. 🤦♂️

Even further out on the lunatic fringe, Russian asset Robin Monotti called the stabbings "an intelligence operation" to bring about digital ID, backed by "grandson of the godhead" Gareth Icke. While Leilani Dowding and others claimed the attack was "allowed, even facilitated".
