h/t @virgo_humble and @Jacquifrench27 for digging up the ICO responses to the FOI requests by first HART's Clare Craig and then UsForThem's Ben Kingsley. These clearly show that @camillahmturner's @Telegraph article contains lies about UKHSA's reasons for refusing the requests.
The ICO ruling against Ben Kingsley also clearly states that the issue is anti-vaxxers contacting bereaved relatives and causing distress to them, NOT the public being distressed if the data shows a link between vaccines and excess deaths, as he claimed in the Telegraph article.

PPS: The ICO's ruling against Clare Craig (whose request Ben Kingsley copy and pasted) gives more detail about the grounds for not releasing the data - "disclosure could lead to the families of the deceased being subjected to unsolicited approaches by anti-vaccine campaigners".

On arrival, Bev Turner was greeted by quack collective the World Council for Health, which has a stall at Together's event. They gave her detox pamphlets and a (tin foil?) "EMF protection" bag to protect her from 5G. 🙄 They're also selling overpriced supplements, of course.

The latest "GB News Original" (broadcast on YouTube to dodge Ofcom) features Bev Turner, Neil Oliver and guest Ed Dowd falsely claiming that covid doesn't exist or wasn't dangerous, the pandemic was a hoax, and excess deaths were caused by hospitals and covid vaccines. 😳

PS: Ben Kingsley's comments in the Telegraph don't seem to be based on anything the UKHSA said at the recent tribunal, but are just rehashing his own wild speculation about what they meant by a vague comment in their reply to his FOI request 18 months ago. ↙️ UKHSA / Kingsley ↘️

And of course, now that this has been sane washed through the Telegraph, anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists are all sharing the (apparently false) story en masse, using it as validation for their own vastly exaggerated claims of covid vaccine harms and supposed cover-ups.

UKHSA actually argued that it would be possible to identify deceased individuals from the data that HART and UsForThem were requesting, and that this could result in anti-vaxxers contacting their relatives and causing *them* distress. A concern which an ICO tribunal upheld.

Aseem Malhotra isn't the only covid crank mysteriously exorcised from the Action on World Health website. Leading their WHO review is David Bell (of HART, PANDA and the Brownstone Institute). Their old web page repeatedly highlighted this fact, but now there's no mention of him.
