Aside from the sheer facepalm value of this tweet, quote reposts are ๐ค๐ค๐ค - Kamala Cell reaction got me crying.
I am willing to publish my two 2018 papers on the world first gene edited babies, however it must be published in either Nature or Science. It is one of the greatest medical breakthroughs in history, it deserves the honor to be published in Nature or Science.

Every once in a while you see a paper and you _don't even know what to think_ honestly. I mean wow. Is it an artefact or a major mechanism of inheritance would be one question I'd definitely like to know. P.S. I think height heritability is considered to be fully explained now.
Why are so many inherited traits not explained by genome sequence variation? In my PhD work with @wbderry we describe a new mechanism of inheritance in animals that may account for this โmissing heritability' ๐งต

I wonder what this means for scRNA-seq, especially cancer scRNA-seq? Looks super cool.
9. Micronuclei contain fragments of (and whole) chromosomes, and rupture to drive genetic diversity and inflammation in cancer. This paper figured out how that happens. It's dependent on mitochondria, reactive oxygen species, and a protein called CHMP7.
