PSA to all coaches: Never try to make parents understand your job, because they never will. Parents will always want the best for their child, as they should. Our job is always to do what’s best for the TEAM. No matter how it may look or feel at times.

A great coach doesn't make you comfortable. They make you confront the gap between your current self and your potential self. Their job is to create the productive discomfort necessary for you to close that gap.
