All student workers will now be protected under just cause, meaning they cannot be fired without a legitimate reason. There is also a new grievance procedure that students can undertake if they feel they have been unfairly disciplined or discharged.

“We need to do this again next year. It's time to start thinking outside of the box. How can teachers, parents, and administrators cut costs or consolidate things.”
Sad that parents and teachers are now responsible.
Decisions made by the legislature determine local (and university) education budgets.
Like it or not, GOP donors advocate for reduced public education funding. That means GOP legislators are calling community schools, "government schools," vilifying them and strangling funding.
