Validated the Board Folk #LaserActive SYPS repro using a PSU that went supernova! In the process, I replaced the dead optocoupler & primary side BJT plus a pair of 2.2k resistors that were open circuit. You can see how rancid the original board was 🤮 Found 2 errors to fix also!

I finally assembled my SMTendo w/ POW Block by @zaxour. Inspired by @machonachomedia, @GameBitfunx shell, @BlueShell3D Nintendrawer, @Time2Retro NES Hub for BT, and @krikzz EverDrive N8 PRO. Worked the first try and looks outstanding on the CVM. Couldn't be happier! Amazing.

I created a patch for US version of R-Type that not only restores the full sprite line bandwidth (the US version has wait states on vram unlike the Japanese PC-Engine hucards). But I also modded the game to show 368 pixels horizontally; 368x224 res. Not that difficult of a hack
