Please retweet: Coax cable is arriving on the 9th, all PCBs have been fully stocked to last the next few months. These are PCBs for PS1 cables, they have 3 tantalum capacitors and optional space for a sync stripper on the back (in order to make BNC cables.)

Have just received a batch of Dreamcast PCBs right before tariffs hit. This pcb includes a proper sync combiner that will work on all equipment including BVMs. I recommend people get their orders in before prices have to change.

Basically the US SNES and SFC is missing capacitors and the PAL SNES is missing resistors. Some PAL TVs worked in 60hz but only in RGB. This is because the TV couldn’t interpret the chroma on composite as it was looking for a PAL wavelength. So the picture was in monochrome.

If you look at designs for any of the analog RGB circuitry inside a console, and DACs, video signal amplifiers and other ICs used in video circuitry you will see that 75 ohm resistors are always stipulated to be on the output and BEFORE the signal reaches the cable.

In the case of the Dreamcast which outputs slightly too bright RGB we have a resistor bank correcting this and maintaining 75 ohm impendance.

We’ve always been doing this as a matter of good practice which is why all of our cables requiring such components have a PCB inside the console end hood.

I made Jaguar cables available again after doing a run of 3D prints for the hoods they use.

Don’t qualify for a job in tech higher than a $20 job because I don’t have a degree. All the $20 an hour assembly jobs are out of town. Have to take Uber, costs $35 a day, end up after rent and utilities with only $100 a week to live on. Death absolute death.

I’m fucked basically. I’ve been past fucked for a long time. Can’t do this business alone without having to work some 14 hours a day which is destroying my mental health.
