I will happily watch my Zestimate drop if it means San Francisco becomes affordable for more people.

Just found @LeadEdgeCapital's "Hierarchy of Information Disclosure." Companies choose which data to present -- ranging from "cash profits" to "being voted the best place to work in our city." So true! (Shared with permission)

Why settle for one NAD+ booster when you can have it all? NMN, NR, Trigonelline, and direct NAD+ - all in one powerful formula. Get the complete NAD+ boost without the trade-offs.

Whenever I visit my family in the Midwest I’m struck by how much healthier it is b/c a wider swath of the society can afford the basic joys of life. How many people in coastal elite cities aren’t marrying the person they love because they can’t imagine affording a home or kids?
The most expensive luxury you can flex in SF isn't a car or a house: It's a baby stroller with a human in it (rather than a dog).

The uncomfortable truth is that SF has so many vacant storefronts not because the city lacks foot traffic, but because too many operators aren’t running good businesses. Mediocre products and shaky operations don’t survive anywhere. Yes, national chains bring their own issues.

My mom died suddenly of cancer at the age of 60. Today is her birthday, so I'm resharing a story about how she influenced me and how I try to honor her every day. The Glimpse of Beauty That Changed Me: https://t.co/jpiU6H4Ubg

Good intentions, worse outcome. SF’s driveways date back to 100+ years ago and were intended to accommodate the dimensions of 100+ yo vehicles. The average personal vehicle length has grown ~3-4 feet between 1925 and 2025. Driveway-parked cars are now eating up public
It shouldn’t be controversial to say this: The city should not fine residents for parking in their own driveways. As part of my PermitSF initiative, we're taking common-sense steps and getting rid of these unnecessary and burdensome regulations. It’s your driveway—park in it if

"Diplomatic Silence" reminded me: One of my former companies was frivolously sued for wrongful termination. The ex-employee had strong reference from prev employer. In pre-litigation discovery learned they were actually fired for similar performance issue and offered a
@SpencerHakimian Many apparently prestigious disciplines are actually jokes, but no one tells you because the people in the other disciplines preserve a diplomatic silence about this.

Never seen this shot before.
Sutro Baths, circa 1958 A foggy day with the Sky-Tram & a pretty low tide. Still, there are people out on the point, no doubt waiting to get back in that giant Art Deco toaster. Almost 60 years since the place burned in 1966, & the ruins continue to be a gateway to #sfhistory

The bigger issue for SF is that many of these stores have vacated completely. I was away for two years and returned to find that the Target and Walgreens in my neighborhood were gone.
