As the State plans to change the Foundation Aid formula, which is how school districts are funded across the State, it was good to see @NYCMayor @NYCSpeakerAdams, @NYCSpeakerAdams, @JustinBrannan, @NYCComptroller, @DOEChancellor . .
The proposed changes to the NYS Foundation Aid formula would result in NYC schools getting $350M less than they otherwise would. Good to see @NYCMayor @NYCSpeakerAdams @JustinBrannan @NYCComptroller @DOEChancellor raising concerns about this proposal.

The Coalition for Equitable Education Funding responds to @NYCMayor's preliminary budget, which fails to sustain key education programs, such as Early Childhood Education & Community Schools, that are supported by expiring city funds & does not make future investments needed.

The @ymcanyc was honored to host the Governor and her team earlier this week as they announced this critical support for New York City and New York State families.
I promised to put money in your pockets, New York, and here’s one way we’re going to do it:. Increase the child tax credit from $330 to $1,000 per child, and expand it to more families. Have two kids under four? That could be up to $2,000 in your pocket.
