This is outrageous 🚩🚩 A RADIOGRAPHER in an “advanced role” working in acute medicine - diagnosing, treating & independently discharging medical patients. THIS IS PRACTICING AS A DOCTOR! In no way, shape or form is this “advanced radiography” What it is - is quackery.

@Hobowithashot @SCynic1 Yes it's no surprise that experienced doctors are more efficient

You need to delete this immediately.
In Calamity Lammy’s last 24 hours he’s: -refused to explain himself in Parliament as he feared ‘career suicide’ -refused to say how many prisoners have been let out mistakenly and how many are still at large -created more confusion by getting the timeline of events wrong

I might have a suggestion?!
@paul_d_stevens Where are you getting these GPs from? I’d genuinely like to see a realistic plan.

I am annoyed. We are being told that there will be tax increases. Then I find out that one of the NHS hospitals wants to waste that tax on paying PAs on band 8. Patients did not vote to pay for 3rd class care by overpaid assistants.

F1s you are new, you will be slow. This is not your fault and you should still exception report every late finish. It’s on trusts to compensate for the inefficiency of changeover time, if they have failed to do this then you are entitled to payment for your extra work.

Hate switching to a new set of trust values. I think I have to stop being nurturing and start being compassionate. And switch from being honest to being trustworthy. Something like that, it's not like these are vapid meaningless buzzwords after all.

Can anyone genuinely explain why a pensioner who earns £34,999 per year should get their heating bills paid for by the government (and taxpayers)? That is an income higher than 45% of full-time workers.
🚨 Do you support the Government's decision to restore Winter Fuel Payments to all pensioners earning £35,000 or less?

I really hope we don't produce another meaningless buzzword title like "clinical aide", "practitioner", "medical care assistant" etc. Doctor's assistant is the clearest way to say not a doctor. Beyond that it's the role itself that's confusing, not the title.
It took a review to work out that the title "Physician Associate" is confusing?! Everyone said when the title was changed but they were ignored or told they were being difficult... My campaign for the new title to be "Clinical Assistant" starts now. https://t.co/1qoKTNZcUn

Yes, the person who makes the fries at McDonald’s should be able to pay for housing, groceries, and other bills with their paycheck alone.

Listening to the news that NHS managers who don't hit waiting list targets won't get their £15k bonuses or pay rises has really brought home how messed up the NHS is today.... The managers don't reduce the wait, the clinical staff do, but we don't get these pay rises

It's not a Nigerian care worker, a Filipino nurse or a Polish builder making your life a misery. It's the politician who tells you to point the finger elsewhere while they have their foot on your neck.

@Anisocyte I have asked this a million times: In the absence of a more senior doctor … who’s medical opinion takes precedence … An FY1 … An ANP …. A PA If the answer is the only doctor in the room … then pay them properly and show them the respect they deserve.

Lowkey depressing how many trusts are in special financial measures after the pay rises. Maybe paying £200 for patient transport is a bit of a rip off? Or paying £98 for HP toner cartridges? But no, it's the doctors and nurses that caused this problem!
