Excited to share SWITCH-seq, a multiplexed in situ RNA sequencing method that discerns single-base variations in rRNA. Very honored to work with @D_Rothschild_ , and Theo. Thanks, @WangXiaoLab and @mbarnalab for the incredible support and guidance.
1/9.We show that Human ribosomes have different rRNA sequences, predominantly indels. These include abundant variants such as GGC indels, which form different structures. We visualize variants in single cells and associate them with development and cancer.
