The intersection of electric vehicles, the grid, and clean energy is going to be fascinating. Huge opportunity here to use EVs to integrate more solar and wind. And to use software tie it all together more seamlessly and at lower cost.
Incremental generation capacity demands from EV growth forecasted to be up to $100B by 2040 according to Goldman. Distribution upgrades might be even more if not solved with networked charging.
