About 18 months ago I started making rave tunes after my therapist said it might help with the burnout I had from startup life (teklife cures tech life tbh). I made a couple of tracks and had my roomate (now girlfriend) sing on them and it's been a crazy year of playing

The bull case for @solana is the philosophy that the core ( anza, labs ) have built robust, fast, cheap end to end infrastructure and now the ask is for product first app founders to build apps for plebs… it’s genuinely the only way all this stuff gets anywhere long term

I definitely see myself in this as an artist/collector/trader now and in my past history as a DJ/producer, doing things like being first to bring grime to nyc etc. Definitely both games of having an intuition for where the puck is going culturally

Things are definitely changing and will be painful for a bit but the glass half full take is that all the boomers who held onto power for far too long are being shaken out. New blood pumping into every corner of the city. Next 20 years going to be magic.
it's actually kind of crazy how washed LA is as a city now. lots and lots of closed/failing restaurants, the wages here are shockingly low compared to cost of living, film industry still hasn't recovered from that double-strike 2 years ago, etc
