I think @Polymarket needs more political scientists on staff, and probably a parliamentarian. The Polymarket question was poorly worded - and there should be a high integrity highly paid parliamentarian for situations just like this.

Friendly reminder that a tax cut which is debt finance (a tax cut not met with equal spending cuts) is not a tax cut. It’s a loan that needs to be paid back . We pay more for interest on the national debt that we spend on National Security or Medicare. Let’s not make it worse.

There’s absolutely a role for centralized systems —- BUT. Co-location does not reduce latency - it creates latency asymmetry. Centralized sequencers will always have high global latency — they disadvantage people who are not physically close to the sequencer. A colocation.
@magicdhz what's wrong with geographic centralization for a sequencer?. geo centralization is their strength bc colocation allows for minimal latency. if they get regulated they can move. if their server gets blown up they can have fallbacks online ready to take over.
