My lab will focus on (1) Identifying and Redesigning leaf cell wall properties for optimized crop water-use ; (2) Developing an integrated understanding of plant-atmosphere CO2-water fluxes under G x E x M to optimize C-capture and water-use of cropping systems.

Ecosystems with greater species diversity are more stable, efficient, productive and resilient. Similarly for India-our diversity is our strength, not weakness. Happy 75th Independence Day my motherland! A big salute to those who sacrificed their lives so that we enjoy freedom!!
