I remember @theo saying if someone found one good example of a Flutter app, he’d stop trashing it. Here’s my entry: @snipd_app. It’s my favorite podcast player that helps you take notes while you listen. The animations are fun and expressive, but never slow. I love it 👍

Here's a before and after of my Flutter app electron on Android getting battery info form the BatteryManager API, before, i used platform channels, but I switched to using native bindings using jnigen, you can see data now loads instantly where before there was a small delay.

Friendly reminder that I have the smoothest implementation of modal sheets with scrollable content in #FlutterDev (at least that I know of) It handles scrolling and resizing content perfectly. also comes with a better version of the classic cupertino sheet view.

this is one of the most beautiful PRs i've ever seen strong engineer with ownership over tax code was offboarding. instead of docs / zoom / etc, i asked him to write unit tests as documentation instead. it landed today and it is a thing of beauty.

Do *NOT* accept such builds times from Flutter. Always check is taking the time, e.g. here this was caused by 1) choice by slang i18n package to generate 1 enormous function with all messages for each locale 2) quadratic behavior in Dart's register allocator cont
