I was born in the #UK paid taxes all my working life & now in retirement. I can’t get a bus pass yet & the government certainly won’t pay for any taxis I use. Yet those who contribute nothing get a free ride, literally, at my expense, that’s not right.

When the current benefits bill is unaffordable, but ⁦@UKLabour⁩ has refused to reduce it, ⁦@bphillipsonMP⁩ is it a good idea to add to it further? This government has no idea how to manage the finances #UK tax payers generate for them.

This highlights how #mentalhealth is not seen in the same light as physical health. The new 10yr plan for the #NHS in England describes “a workforce fit for the future”. This action by ⁦@uniofeastanglia⁩ doesn’t support such a stated ambition.

Inertia on welfare reform. ⁦@UKLabour⁩ MPs worried about their jobs, rather than putting the country 1st. Failure to introduce change will mean higher taxes, resulting in those who contribute most continuing to subsidise those who contribute little.

Those who did this are ‘enemies of the state’. Wilful damage of military equipment, particularly at this current time, is an act of treason & should be punished as such. Describing it as “an act of vandalism” shows how weak & pathetic @10DowningStreet is.

Last week, in response to the announcement regarding the abolishment of @NHSEngland , I posted on @LinkedIn that hopefully many of its highly paid staff wouldn’t be recycled into the #NHS as is often the way when such change occurs. This appointment extinguishes that hope.

The state should provide a safety net for societies vulnerable. But with spending on health & disability benefits forecast to rise to £100.7bn in 2029-30, is the system sustainable? #benefits #health #disability #mentalhealth

The abolition of @NHSEngland has been long overdue. Hopefully many of its highly paid staff won’t be recycled into the #NHS, has is often the way with these changes, but savings from cutting their posts used for the direct delivery of patient care.

Shrinking @NHSEngland workforce is long overdue. While some staff make a valuable contribution to the #NHS the contribution of many (some highly paid) makes no/or has failed to make an impact on the delivery of patient care.

No one should feel embarrassed & intimidated in the workplace. The safety & dignity of this female #nurse have been ignored by an #NHS that ironically in its efforts to deliver diversity & equality has completely failed in this case. ⁦@sharrond62⁩
