So @attorneygeneral a barrister, is calling for @Nigel_Farage to apologise for something there isn’t any evidence of him doing. Just the word of a nobody with connections to @guardian & @BBC Along with the scrapping of jury trials these are worrying times for #uk justice.
The Attorney General has called for Nigel Farage to apologise after he was accused of racist and anti-semitic behaviour during his school years. Peter Ettedgui alleges Farage abused him when they were classmates in the 70s.

I've written to the Standards Commissioner alongside many MPs, regarding the racist comments made by the MP for Runcorn and Helsby. We are calling for a formal investigation as to whether the MPs' Code of Conduct was breached. Our joint cross-party letter.👇🏾

An extra £1 billion to cover redundancy payments! Redundancy of a #NHS bloated senior management structure, many of whom will resurface elsewhere or return as very expensive consultants. Throwing money at the NHS isn’t the answer.

I was born in the #UK paid taxes all my working life & now in retirement. I can’t get a bus pass yet & the government certainly won’t pay for any taxis I use. Yet those who contribute nothing get a free ride, literally, at my expense, that’s not right.

Last week, in response to the announcement regarding the abolishment of @NHSEngland , I posted on @LinkedIn that hopefully many of its highly paid staff wouldn’t be recycled into the #NHS as is often the way when such change occurs. This appointment extinguishes that hope.
It is an honour to be appointed to the role of Chief Executive at @GSTTnhs - the organisation is now very different to the one I left in 2019 and I am delighted and proud to return to lead it.

The abolition of @NHSEngland has been long overdue. Hopefully many of its highly paid staff won’t be recycled into the #NHS, has is often the way with these changes, but savings from cutting their posts used for the direct delivery of patient care.
