The most beatifully written pieces I read in Ao3 has little to no porn. I'm so tired of ppl asosciating ao3 with just porn or especially hardcore porn. It's a place where people can write whatever they want, not everyone wants to write smut.

i saw a post today saying “it’s okay if authors take a while to update as long as they give a reason” and i just wanted to say that’s utter bullshit. the author of a fic doesn’t have to spell out every personal detail in order to get you to understand that writing takes time.
