There's so much unnecessary #cruelty & harm coming from @Conservatives & their RW extremist supporters am listening to this at least once a day as an antidote to it all. It gives hope for a better future b/c most of us are #smart ppl 👏👏👏 & 🙏 @GovPritzker for the inspiration
Please listen to this speech by @GovPritzker. It perfectly explains both the cruelty and stupidity of the people now ruling Brexit Britain. #BrexitHasFailed

If you are worried about Benefit Fraud £0.5bn but not Government Corruption £58bn. Or immigration £2bn but not Tax Havens £150bn. Or NHS potential pay rises £3bn but not Bankers tax cuts £7.3bn. You are buying their lies.

Let that sink in: A single market where 450 million people are free to study, live, shop, work and retire and enjoy products from all over Europe. A global champion worth €14.5 trillion, empowering 23 million businesses to move and trade. - We left 🤔 👇

I use braille everyday, from work to reading to my kids. My 7 year old has been learning braille so that he can leave secret messages for me. We are definitely a Lego family & now with the introduction of Lego Braille Bricks, he’s learning braille whilst playing 😃 @LEGO_Group
The Lego team had some clear design principles: The new blocks had to be easy for people to learn, they had to be fun, and they had to connect the entire family.

The Tories have drained Britain's coffers like a herd of thirsty elephants around a watering hole. Public debt is over 2.5x what it was when Labour left office. So if there was "no money left" then, what does that say about our current situation? But Tory cronies did very well!
UK public debt July 2023: £2,58trn, 98.5% of GDP Feb 2020: £1.791tn, 79.1% of GDP May 2010: £1.03tn, 65% of GDP Tories borrowed more than all Labour Govts combined. Squandered on tax cuts for corporations/rich, contracts for cronies. No new industries. Public services destroyed

In what walk of life is 'ignorance' or forgetfulness a valid defence? But he's not ignorant: he's been an MP & Minister long enough to know the rules... That leaves inly one conclusion & the need for YET ANOTHER breach to be swept under the carpet... #NolanPrinciples? Meh! 🤬
Rishi Sunak ‘inadvertently’ breached parliament’s code of conduct by failing to properly declare his wife’s shareholding in a childcare company which stood to benefit from new government policy, says watchdog. No further action

The elephant is still in the room and shows no sign of being noticed by Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves or anyone else in the Labour Party. Brexit doesn’t work. Brexit cannot work. #RejoinEU

Everyone, when the Tories use the word 'Free', it means the opposite of what most people associate, it means private, it means charter, it means deregulation, it means beyond big Govt, it means destroying the public sector, it means far-right libertarian. 👇🏻
@GillianKeegan 66 free schools had totally or partially closed, or failed to open by April 2018, at an estimated cost of almost £150m in capital funding. Free schools are allowed to employ teachers without Qualified Teacher Status. Free means charter which means private. Charter cities next.

“Not for EU”… because it doesn’t meet EU food standards, due to the UK Tories agreeing to lower our food standards for CPTPP. Remember when they said we’d have BETTER standards than the EU if we left?
Given EU high food quality, "not for EU"-marked food in N Ireland supermarkets may appear less and less tempting over time, given the UK has agreed to lower its standards for CPTPP 👇 (they have to use these new labels as part of Windsor Agreement, otherwise they wouldn't 🤡)

The Times says Keir Starmer is right to stand by George Osborne’s two-child policy. There is no justification for punishing children. Right-wing narrative: OK to bailout banks; hand QE to speculators, subsidies to corporations but must punish children. https://t.co/JMYRzsTZ4W
