Feel like Seattle hasn’t really dictated the 2nd half so much as #MNUFC has really not made any smart decisions on the ball.

This Rothrock v Bongi matchup on the right flank is a problem. Did not like that sub. #MNUFC

While I greatly respect #MNUFC social media pulling a Top Gun reference (appropriate for the opponent, of course) there is truly one and only one movie supercut that should apply to the Triantis goal from Saturday night...

Have been posting very little on this site but good gravy this is some high-level banter... @MattDoyle76 will be a great sport about it, too, he will adore this.

Just catching up on the late night games, but this is an unacceptable red card at any level. https://t.co/dLVmJm7dX7

Again… people forgetting Bo Jackson gunning down Reynolds.

#Braves RF Ronald Acuña Jr. just casually gunned down a runner at third base on one of the best and most accurate throws you'll see from a right fielder. Clemente, Parker, take your pick. Flat footed on the fly. My goodness. Pressbox is buzzing.

How quickly people forget about Bo gunning down Harold Reynolds.

This might be the most impressive throw I've seen.

This is headed towards one of those nights where #MNUFC falls behind to a good well-coached team on a fluky play and now lacks a game breaker to break down a low block to wrest control of the game back.

Here's the reality of what you just did to your constituents to make sure Jeff Bezos pays even less tax: 9.5% increase in property taxes just to fill the Medicare and SNAP gap, not including staffing. You do such a poor job of representing us and our interests.

Hey @RepPeteStauber seem to recall you taking credit for all these funds for the Blatnick (you voted against the act). Now your boss just cost your district hundreds of jobs and needed repairs to transportation infrastructure. Awfully quiet on that.

I genuinely hope I am wrong on that, and that US Soccer is ready to really tackle this problem. But it's going to take dedication and perseverance. The organization I was once involved in... lacked both. /end

If and when that might happen, leagues and authorities might claim inadequate staffing and repeat offenders will continue to participate in the sport due to lack of adequate oversight. 15/

Abuse is so widespread at this point, I fear that if people try to implement this punishment scale, the number of cases will overwhelm the system the same way SafeSport has been overwhelmed. 14/

People can always run the complaint up the chain... I suppose an ignored incident can be reported to US Soccer, and they will hypothetically crack down. But after being involved wihth US Soccer for 18 years as an admin... I'll believe that when I see it. 13/

The moral of that story is punishment guidelines will only work if the league shows a willingness to enforce them and not blow off incidents of abuse and assault. 12/

In the end, the problem was only solved when the governing body that oversaw this youth league was told about the incident and that body yanked jurisdiction and properly held a hearing and enacted punishment. 11/

It got really ugly, with the person running the league even hiring a lawyer (sadly, a referee at that) who tried to defend the league's punishment decision as adequate. 10/
