It’s time to delist the gray wolf, and @RepPeteStauber and I are working to get it done. We have seen livestock slaughtered, pets torn apart, and wolves now appearing on school grounds in the Upper Midwest. Their population must be managed.

50 years ago, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior, taking 29 brave souls with her. I was proud to honor their memory at the anniversary events and recognize their way of life continues today on our Iron Range and shipping on the Great Lakes. Never forget these heroes.

I was honored to join the Minnesota Historical Society’s 50th anniversary beacon lighting at Split Rock Lighthouse, honoring the Edmund Fitzgerald’s 29 lost crew. Their sacrifice on Lake Superior is not forgotten.

I’m at Wisconsin Point with @RepTiffany where the state line between MN & WI runs in the center of the canal. 1/3 of all Duluth harbor traffic leaves through this canal, including the final voyage of the Edmund Fitzgerald in 1975.
