It is my opinion that this was a great day to be a Rangers fan.
On this day in 2010, the Seattle Mariners trade Cliff Lee, Mark Lowe & $ to the Texas Rangers for Justin Smoak, Blake Beavan, Josh Lueke & Matthew Lawson. Seattle is going for a youth movement, while Texas, in 1st place in the AL West, pushes for a playoff run.
