Great work by the team for this recognition as a Leader in the @Gartner_inc Magic Quadrant for Cloud Database Management Systems, which shows #AWS’s ability to provide a comprehensive set of services for your data foundation across all workloads, use cases, and data types.

I'm amazed by how far things have progressed with nested virtualization. Running a virtual machine on a forked version of VirtualBox for Linux that leverages KVM in a WSL 2 Ubuntu distribution on Windows 11 would've completely blown my mind just a few years ago.

The biggest problem of modern US - is non-existing labor law. Yes, it allows employers to have much more freedom, and sometimes be more competitive, but there is almost nothing which is protecting the average IT worker

For the Floating Point nuts amongst us, BFloat16 & its invention* by google is being challenged in a patent dispute. Ramifications could include sunsetting of Google TPUs, but also the use of Bfloat16 & Bfloat like types in other devices, including: GPUs, CPUs, AI accelerators

I heard you liked eBPF and BGP, so I put BGP in eBPF so I could see what BGP was doing and control it with eBPF. 🐝

Today at WWDC we introduced a new static linker. It is a ground-up rewrite that’s up to 5x faster than ld64. The new linker is written with multicore in mind, and it’s the first production ready parallel linker officially supported for iOS development. (1/n)
