Ridiculous statement. Easy fix is to put it in the T’s&C’s that the purchaser isn’t allowed to sell the ticket for anything more than the face value. Then enforce it by revoking the tickets on the exchanges. If you ran a face value ticket exchange you could even help.
The BBC condemns secondary selling. The @RoyalAlbertHall is the only official ticket seller for #BBCProms. Tickets bought from third party providers may be fraudulent. This is an industry wide problem. We work closely with the Royal Albert Hall to prevent secondary selling.
