Also, I was the reporter who wrote the ticket sales story. Which the Kennedy Center did not refute. Take a look: https://t.co/JGZ0kAMtkn

Nearly nine months into Trump’s oversight, sales for the three largest performance venues are the worst they’ve been since the pandemic, according to a Washington Post analysis.

I don’t understand this assertion. The arts reporter has the first byline on the piece. Take a look: https://t.co/fDx5J0BE05

The Kennedy Center booked the World Cup draw at President Donald Trump’s urging. It will occupy much of the campus and displace planned performances.
The Washington Post is devoid of journalism. The TDS narrative completely controls their newsroom. They also can’t find a reporter who understands finance. Their latest partisan neophyte writing on the Kennedy Center is sports reporter @RickMaese. Their Arts reporter was

EXCLUSIVE: After Trump took over the Kennedy Center in Feb, he vowed to make it "hot" again. So, how's it doing? We used data from the center's ticketing website to find out. Ticket sales are lowest they've been since the pandemic. W/ @jeremybmerrill

If you live/work in NoMa, you may have seen a new hot dog stand at 1st and M NE. The guy running it is Isaac Stein, an IRS lawyer who’s been furloughed since Oct 8. The government shutdown has unexpectedly given him time to pursue a passion project long in the works.

Took a break from the usual to write a movie review. My feelings on Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein." https://t.co/KjTBpdNAeQ

This is an appalling starting salary. This would have been an appalling starting salary 13 years ago when I first started working in media too. Just shameful.
Harper’s Magazine is hiring a full-time assistant editor at a salary of $40,000. That’s $5,000 less than that of our lowest-paid employee and $28,000 below New York City’s living wage.

my starting salary at the ringer was $39k in LA (pre-pandemic and seven years of inflation) and it was barely enough to scrape by with help. setting salaries like this determines who considers these jobs viable and who does not. shameful and also shamelessly exclusionary

I spent an evening with @puptheband, who described themselves as “like Weezer but worse." Which is not true, but as Stefan Babcock said, "It’s easier to be disliked than liked." If you like rock music, check them out, and read about them here: https://t.co/89zwSW6f4c

The Toronto quartet PUP, who just released their fifth album, “Who Will Look After the Dogs?,” is living proof that pop hasn’t completely conquered the airwaves.

Hurricane Katrina hit my hometown 20 years ago. I feel honored for the opportunity to write about one small slice of it -- the Superdome, and its triumph resurrection. This one was really special to me. Please check it out: https://t.co/MbDUvf89wq

The iconic stadium was a symbol of everything Hurricane Katrina tore apart 20 years ago. Then came the comeback.

Just about everyone seems to have a lotta big feelings about Cracker Barrel these days, but has anyone actually eaten at one recently? I decided to check it out for myself. Take a gander: https://t.co/vw051woUpn

A reporter with an earnest love for Cracker Barrel revisits the casual chain while its brand refresh, new logo and peg game stir controversy.

The Kennedy Center has dropped the family who made the Honors medallions for 47 years and who were the definition of a family business. @janaykingsberry spoke to them (and I offered some meager assistance). Take a look: https://t.co/fhogclFT63
