Kyiv-Pasazhyrsky is magnificent, busy, and gigantic. Some take the train to the front line for their last time, while others meet their loved ones after months in uniform. Thomas and I took the overnight train to Poland and flew home to Norway. A stark contrast in fates.

There are no civilian flights in Ukraine, only military aircrafts. This means the train is, by far, the easiest way to travel in and out of the country.

Earlier this year, this building was hit by several Shahed/Geran drones. Miraculously, no one was killed. We were allowed inside. There they were still producing drones for the fight against the Russians, and the coffe they served were excellent. Resilience in action.
