2). I had well-meaning folks insist on pulling things down for me to inspect, when I'm perfectly capable of standing to get what I needed. Then someone grabbed hold of my #wheelchair to "help" me up a kerb when I can easily pop a wheelie & do it myself. I know you mean well. .

1) PSA for able-bodied folks. While not meaning to be churlish, please, please don't "help" us #disabled folks unasked. Example: if we're out shopping, we'll ask if we need you to grab something from a shelf. I was grocery shopping today, and 3 times in the space of 30 minutes. .

Whenever I go out, I always have music playing through the big old speaker on my Batec. This is the one lesser known song I always try and have playing when I roll up to the door - it has a sorta "end credits" feel to it. (a la Napoleon Dynamite).

I've not been on here much, trying to minimise my exposure to anything that's going to physically & emotionally exhaust me as I've an incredibly important 7 days next week. Need to be totally charged up & level-headed, hence a bit quiet. Chewies also trying to relax.
