Lifting, running, jumping, throwing…it’s all force training. The body doesn’t know “bench press” or “handstand push-up.” It knows tension, load, and how to adapt to it. Strength is built by interacting with force…producing it, attenuating it and adapting over time.

Yamamoto. 27 seconds to make 1 throw during Long Toss. Talk about being Engaged. Talk about the Process. Throwing is an art form. And shocker….he’s throwing it HIGH and FAR 😁. #1Arm, #1Career @PitchingNinja @TreadAthletics

Tennessee baseball coach Tony Vitello is finalizing a deal to become the next manager of the San Francisco Giants, sources tell me and @jeffpassan. Vitello, 47, will be the first ever to jump from college coach to MLB manager without any professional experience.

Should a deal between Vitello and the Giants come together, he would be the first manager in MLB history hired directly from the college ranks with no professional baseball experience. The buyout on Vitello’s contract at Tennessee is $3 million, according to sources.

The mariners have a knockoff Racing Sausages, the Salmon Run except one of the Salmon, Humpy, is a dipshit who had never won a race. Tonight in the 15th inning, they ran the second Salmon Run of the night. Humpy won. The Mariners immediately walked it off and are ALCS bound.

"I can't gain weight" is BS. Tips on what to do instead (part 3) 1) Commit to eating being your job for 4-6+ months 2) Eat breakfast to open the feeding window (~12-14hrs) 3) Push yourself in the weight room (progressive overload to add muscle). 4) Always have snacks with you.

Saying "no walks" or punishing walks places failure at the top of a pitcher's mind ("don't walk this guy!"). Saying "let's attack this Mf-er" flips that mindset from defensive to offensive.🤔 1/

Being too coachable (and being afraid to say ‘no’) is a massive Achilles heel in many players’ careers. It’s YOUR career. Just because a coach says something doesn’t mean you have to blindly follow it. Be respectful, but take ownership. Don't be afraid to ask 'why'.

Have you ever wanted something so bad that it's nearly all you think about every waking moment for years/decades? Because that describes most top performers, & is what you're up against. Clocking in & clocking out doesn't create .1% results unless you're the genetic elite.
