Tennessee baseball coach Tony Vitello is finalizing a deal to become the next manager of the San Francisco Giants, sources tell me and @jeffpassan. Vitello, 47, will be the first ever to jump from college coach to MLB manager without any professional experience.

Should a deal between Vitello and the Giants come together, he would be the first manager in MLB history hired directly from the college ranks with no professional baseball experience. The buyout on Vitello’s contract at Tennessee is $3 million, according to sources.

"I can't gain weight" is BS. Tips on what to do instead (part 3) 1) Commit to eating being your job for 4-6+ months 2) Eat breakfast to open the feeding window (~12-14hrs) 3) Push yourself in the weight room (progressive overload to add muscle). 4) Always have snacks with you.

Being too coachable (and being afraid to say ‘no’) is a massive Achilles heel in many players’ careers. It’s YOUR career. Just because a coach says something doesn’t mean you have to blindly follow it. Be respectful, but take ownership. Don't be afraid to ask 'why'.
