I did it! Taxi 2 station,train to Waterloo,negotiated busy station,on to Piccadilly to surprise Gorgeous Granddaughter on her birthday,She cried when she saw me, so did I.After five months I can go it alone! All my fellow strokers keep going Never stop! You can make it happen🙏💋

Hi lovely followers. Sorry I’ve been absent for 2 months, had Catastrophic stroke, family told I wouldn’t make it. Universe intervened & here I am! doing well and determined to get back to normal. Just come home and fighting back hard. Physio going well. Stay safe everyone.🙏

YES! First day back in the gym.Therapist says I’ve outgrown home workouts so here I am! Had great first session, met old gym buddies.I was told not to expect this for 8/9 months at least. 5 1/2 months since the stroke! I’m thrilled. Thank you for all your support🙏💋

Hi took me down to the sea for salt air, sunshine & cheeky ice cream!! walking shaky today, dizziness quite bad. Face still twisted somewhat but oh what a lovely time I had, out in the world with people & places I love. Worth all the hard work in Therapy!

Hi everyone. Saw consultant yesterday.Discussed Swelling of legs, dizziness serious issue, & constant pins &needles in right side. As if a stroke isn’t enough! Emotions on a hair trigger, many tears shed over trivial things. SO tedious! Bright side, physio going well. Hurrah!🤗

Sorry not many post lately. Had serious Covid & struggled to recover. Breathing difficult & no strength at all. As if a catastrophic Stroke wasn’t enough! Fought hard to get back to level of fitness pre Covid. Six weeks on & im back to the gym tomorrow!Wish me luck!

So So sad at the passing of the extraordinary lady who was Una Stubbs. I had the privilege of working with her on the Nescafé commercials for ten years. She was funny, kind, Generous and SO talented. It was an absolute joy. Travel well lovely lady.💋🙏

I have no words to describe what I’m feeling. The saddest of days in my life. HM Queen Elizabeth II has died and a nation mourns. We mourn her loss as a people & I and my family mourn. We always loved and admired her with the greatest respect for her service to our country.

Our village is at their gates every Thursday to applaud the NHS & ALL key workers for risking their lives for us. Last night we took chairs wine & six foot distance rule @ 7pm & got to know each other for an hour before we stood up to applaud. It was so heartwarming!

Ekapol Chanthawong the coach lost all his family as a child. He trained as a monk and devotes his life to helping kids. He was the last out and was the weakest because he’d given what little food he had to the boys. Such courage & compassion. He is just 25 years old.
