Nevada had the *lowest* increase in electricity prices in the entire nation (falling in real terms!), *despite rising demand* — thanks largely to the massive amount of solar it's built. Reversing that course is the dumbest thing we could possibly do.

Hot take: Canceling a 6 gigawatt solar farm is an extremely dumb thing to do when electricity rates are skyrocketing

Musk is out (or so he says). But the DOGE mindset remains, evident in gutted agencies and a demoralized workforce. “Nobody else in the world is doing this kind of thing. And it’s basically going to get shelved.” https://t.co/bucdUOsaSQ

Tom Robbins, one of the all-time great New York City reporters, has died. He rattled the powerful and gave voice to the powerless. He cared, and it showed in every word he wrote. I'll miss him, but so will this entire city. https://t.co/vCaO2NvntN

New York City's Campaign Finance Board just ruled that Andrew Cuomo's mayoral campaign improperly coordinated with his Fix the City super PAC on an ad earlier this month, and are withholding more than $620,000 of public matching funds from his campaign.

kinda weird that major figures in our political and justice systems now regularly tweet in this tone that sounds like an 8 year old boy issuing declarations from atop a snow fort

The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, committed trespass and ignored multiple warnings from Homeland Security Investigations to remove himself from the ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey this afternoon. He has willingly chosen to disregard the law. That will not stand in this

Our analysis, with @sdonnan and @thetrough, shows signs of a pullback in funding under Trump: “The US in February made just $4.3 billion in new, binding funding commitments to state and local governments, a 57.5% decline from the same month a year earlier.” https://t.co/b2zXeYHJsD

Officials are confronting deep uncertainty about funding for programs that undergird their economies — just as Trump’s trade war has raised fears of a recession.
