In this blog post, Tong Chen and colleagues from @pranamanam's Programmable Biology Group at @Penn are showcasing their most recent model MOG-DFM - a discrete flow matching model capable of optimizing therapeutic peptides across multiple (up to 5) different properties. We

The proteinbase initiative is fantastic! A hub to see various binders with the same rigorous experimental protocol. Very useful for testing our binder design filtering methods. Many designs are already filtered - what can give us orthogonal signal for more enrichment?
BoltzGen is now live on @proteinbase! We validated the new all-atom protein design model extensively in the lab and now you can access all the experimental data! The full dataset with over 400 lab-validated proteins is open-source, same as the model itself

very happy to feature BoltzGen as our first "new model release" on @proteinbase! +422 proteins in the base :)

Excited to release BoltzGen which brings SOTA folding performance to binder design! The best part of this project has been collaborating with many leading biologists who tested BoltzGen at an unprecedented scale, showing success on many novel targets and pushing its limits! 🧵..

Super cool desci project. If you've got a computer and good pipeline or idea you can design antibodies and get them tested in a wet lab for free. You love to see it!
🌍 The biggest decentralized science experiment of 2025 is starting now! The protein design competition returns: we’re inviting scientists, engineers, and hackers from around the world to help design new proteins capable of neutralizing the Nipah virus, a pathogen with up to 75%

The next Adaptyv Bio protein design competition will select 200 of its 1000 designs by community vote. Tell all your friends and see if your name will bind Nipah virus Glycoprotein G!
🚨 The Protein Design Competition is back: Bigger, better, and more impactful than ever. This time, the global protein design community will test 1,000 novel protein sequences against one of the deadliest known viruses: 🦠 Nipah. Last year, we challenged the community to design

Next company to release cool protein designs on @proteinbase! Check out @cradlebio's competition winning EGFR binders. Many more data drops on the way 👀
New collection drop! @cradlebio just released their competition-winning EGFR binders on Proteinbase. Check out how they optimized the commercial antibody Cetuximab and scored the highest affinities in our 2024 Protein Design Competition.

Very cool initiative by @btnaughton! More data coming soon to @proteinbase
I decided to experiment with my own (small) protein design competition! It's specifically to test how well VHH pipelines work for binder design, without the usual careful tuning. You submit a @modal script, I run it and test on https://t.co/z5f9FrA7qJ

So cool to see so many people at our lab opening at @adaptyvbio last week! Great mix of researchers, engineers and scientists working at the intersection of AI and bio. We ran lab tours all evening to show how we bring your proteins to life and our robot arm tirelessly counted

Today we're dropping the "beta" tag from Adaptyv, launching our new website and announcing our $8M seed round. When we started Adaptyv a few years ago, our core belief was: AI models for biology are only as good as the experimental data they're trained on and the hypotheses

1 yr ago, I rescinded my US O1 visa, left my startup, and moved down to Próspera to build a city from scratch. It’s a zone with very special laws, regulations, and taxes. It has raised almost $200M, incl from Coinbase, Peter Thiel, and created 3000+ local jobs 🧵

Really cool case study of what you can do now with AI-based protein design when you combine it with fast wet lab validation. Two of our interns made a novel protein biosensor from scratch in just a few weeks, including wet lab validation!
The possibilities for AI-powered protein design are endless! In this case study we show how we used BindCraft to engineer a programmable maltose biosensor from scratch, including wet lab validation at Adaptyv of course. We envision a future where every biologist can make their
