Married, with two strapping sons. Bone cancer survivor, thanks to
@RJAHTumour
@BCRT
Today was my last day in the office prior to retirement. My team spoilt me rotten with so many fantastic gifts that will help me remember my years with Merseyside so fondly 💙
Thank you all so much. Sgt 5747 show me off duty please x💙
A great privilege to meet
@merpolchiefcon
to receive my certificate of service marking my retirement.
I was also presented with long service medal, delayed due to Covid. This will now be getting court mounted to join my others. Thanks Ma'am.

Today is about celebrating the life of this one of a kind type of person! A legend, and that's not overstating it. A leader, a friend, and a loss to so many. RIP Jegs x
@DominicFarrell
I police the street of Merseyside! Have done for 20 years and worked all the tough areas including City. Not that it matters, but some of the most capable bobbies I have worked with have same sex partners. Talking fact not opinion!
@mrjamesmack
Maybe the officer will sue you for defamation. You have made a totally outrageous statement! This patch is in remberance of fallen police officers and is widely worn to support COPs a charity that does so much to support the families left behind. Do your research in future!
For the last seven days, I have been in hospital after planned revisionary surgery on my leg. Bone cancer meant that in 2001, I had to lose a section of tibia. The surgery was curative and allowed me to be close to normal function. This, however, started to fail 1/2

Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary to my beautiful wife. We have learned that marriage isn't plain sailing! But together, anything can be achieved with true love ❤️ 🥂 x
99% of this City are honest, hardworking people. The 1% of rats deserve no protection. They have proven how selfish they are! Shooting discriminately, leaving a nine year old to die whilst they scoop their mate up to hospital. Do the right thing.

It provides important context. The armchair theorists and elements of the media have forced this with unhelpful speculation. It is not victim blaming! It is important factual information

did my check Xrays 👍
Thankfully the news from my wonderful consultant surgeon
@GillianCribb
was good news. Recovery is on track, and with some more physio advice the march on continues. 😀👍

I'd be more concerned that the driver is in the oncoming lane on a right hand bend at about seven seconds! Should be over to left as much as possible to open their view of oncoming traffic! Not in a position you would collide??
Another fantastic visit to

@RJAH_NHS
@RJAHImaging
working together to provide first class care. A hospital I never envisaged having to visit! But now I have, I realise I'm very fortunate 👏

Because you don't ride in the gutter, due to grids potholes and other potential debris. British Cycling and others recommend you ride the primary road position, which is roughly were a motor vehicles nearside wheels would be. However the driver should give at least 1.5m clearance
My
@RJAHTumour
hospital stay continues. The wound is taking its time to heal, but is is rather big. I received a visit from family from Devon yesterday. A cream tea gift was bought for me😍 this mornings coffee has been 👌 It was perfect to share it with hard working staff 🫶

Happy International Nurses day. A personal and massive thank you to all at
@RJAHTumour
@RJAH_NHS
you may jot be told, or feel like it all the time? But you make a massive difference everyday 💙
I support the NHS pay negotiation.
Everything you hear about the NHS is replicated in policing! Demand outweighs resource. More leaving through retirement, etc, than being recruited !

Today on

we’re thinking of all the carers and healthcare professionals who work so incredibly hard to look after us all, this year and every year.
Thank you for the amazing work you do. 💚
I simply have no words 😪 my thoughts with everyone effected. Also to the officers and staff who will leave no stone unturned. So poignant this occurs on the fifteenth anniversary of the murder of Reece Jones!

What about the thousands lost due to

decimation of UK Police and pay! Also the thousand who have retired, or left due to poor pay? Not even scratching the surface
@InspGadgetBlogs
Interesting case! It shows the challenges the police face discharging their duties, then open to inflammatory onesided social media accounts.
If you believed the accounts circulated by the family, the officer would have been condemned as a racist bully. BWV needs to be used!
A great day with our

they did you proud.
Then, onto the visit the best club in the City 😉

If you see a marked police vehicle and drive off at speed in a residential area, then don't be surprised if they stop you! It's called policing! The fact the camera was out filming the fail to stop?

Nasty!! Really? I watched and saw a professional but quite rightly challenging interview. Even the FS said thanks Dan at the end!
It is your job to challenge the facts Dan. You did this in a professional and respectful way.
