This feels important. Genuine Q. Is there a (detrimental) link between not havin a shoulder number issued and the performance and moral of student officers?.
I wish every single of these 100 new constables every success. But it's very disappointing to see a large number of them have not been issued shoulder numbers to go with their uniforms. It's not just part of their uniform, it's fundamental to accountability.
